Summary

The University Rector and Dean Representative, Prof.Federico Delfino, provided the welcome to the participants and point out the importance of these labs.
Prof.Agostino Bruzzone, world director of M&S Net (a network of 34 Excellence Centers distributed in Americas, Europe, Asia), presented the activities of the Simulation Team at world level and the active Labs in Savona Campus; its team in active in the area (Tremori, Massei, Bocca, Poggi, Madeo, Tarone, Brivot, Capelli, Pessina, Capasso, Fancello, Corona, D'Errico, Bertone, Fioravanti, Coppi e Piono) was presenting the innovative research projects based on Simulation Team Solutions.
At the event major Companies was present (i.e. the Major WorldWide Shipping Company active in the area with a new project for a large terminal, the Major Italian Power Plant Contractor and a major world player in Oil & Gas), great interest was demonstrated in the simulation
solutions developed by the Simulation Team of Prof. Agostino Bruzzone.
In this occasion it was possible to present even the new Genoa University masters:
Industrial Plants Engineering, directed by Prof.Bruzzone, and the New Master in VideoGame Design, directed by Prof.De Gloria and coordinated in cooperation with Dr.Rosa; these initiatives represent excellence actions organized by Genoa University.

The Simulation Team group active in Savona Campus of Genoa University represent an excellence center at international level on R&D Projects founded by major companies, institutions and agencies. In occasion of the delivery of the latest Mobile Virtual Port Simulator it was organized a presentation of different labs of Simulation Team active in the zone with presentation of different Simulators and applications developed for Companies and Institutions and a tour of other active center of the Campus
