HMS Conference

The HMS Workshop concentrates on applications of simulation and computer technologies to logistics, supply chain management, multimodal transportation, maritime environment and industrial logistics.
The Workshop is a joint event with the AMS2004 focusing on Application and Theory of Modelling & Simulation.
HMS1999 has been held succesfully in Genoa (HMS2000 was held in Portofino, HMS2001 in Marseille, HMS2002 in Bergeggi, HMS2003 in Riga); in the past editions worldwide specialist had the opportunity to participate and interact to this important International Forum on Logistics.
The audience included both users, vendors and scientists operating in applying advanced techniques to maritime sector. This workshop was orginally included as part of Simulation in Industry Conference, Genoa (1996) and was organized in Riga for the first time as a separate event in 1998.
