VISUALIZATION AND SIMULATION FOR RESTORATION OF HISTORICAL MONUMENTS THROUGH VIRTUAL HERITAGE

Abstract:
The cultural history of a nation takes place in their artists' hands, writers, musicians and architects that, through the life of the State, they create, they develop and they consolidate the cultural aspects where the whole social of the population's roots are placed. Conserving and restoring the artistic patrimony is preserving the cultural history of any people. Being fallen back upon the computer, with modeling in 3D to recreate workmanship and buildings of the antique, the researchers introduced a new use for the machine developed in the century XX, Virtual Heritage.
The present paper seeks to discuss the use of Virtual Heritage as middle of enlarging the analysis capacity, visualization and restoration simulation and conservation of historical monuments, as well as, to allow the attendance of the process the developed being.
