Federico Tarone

was the first student of his year completing the Degree in Management Engineering from Genoa University with a Thesis on Green Logistics Modelling .
In 2007 he received a Research Grant from MIT Consortium for working on Transportation and Logistics and he was active in Messina, Italy. During 2008 he worked on the development of ST_PT and ST_RS. During 2009 he was working on SIBILLA project and in the development of Green Log Simulation Series ( Green Log Port, Green Log Heavy Ship, Green Log Heavy Crane, Green Log Heavy Haul, etc.).
He experienced modelling in Power Service adapting innovative pool management strategies. He participated to SIREN initiative and was active during the joint cooperation Liophant, MISS DIPTEM and CRICS on Complex System Simulation and Crisis Management Learning by Simulation. He had opportunity to participate as speaker to Conferences in Europe and North America (i.e. I/ITSEC, ECMS, ITEC, HMS, MAS, European M&S Symposium, I3M).
He worked as member of the research team of Simulation Team - MISS DIPTEM DIPTEM in several projects for European Defense Agency and NATO.
Currently he is Business Unit Manager - Fiat Automotive Group at Reply directing a large group of engineers and programmers to develop innovative solutions.
